ReviewLoops SMS Program

What is this program?

ReviewLoops is a reputation management platform owned and operated by Slight Revision, a web services company based in Pennsylvania. All SMS messages sent through the ReviewLoops platform are sent by Slight Revision on behalf of participating businesses. After a customer interacts with a participating business (e.g., a restaurant visit, a service appointment, or a rental stay), they may receive a short sequence of 1–4 text messages over approximately 1–2 weeks asking about their experience and providing a link to leave a review.

Who sends the messages?

All SMS messages are sent from a Slight Revision phone number. Each message clearly identifies the business the customer interacted with by name. Slight Revision (slightrevision.com) is the sole operator of the ReviewLoops platform (getreviewloops.com) and the registered sender of all messages in this program.

How consent is collected

Customers must provide explicit consent before any SMS messages are sent. The primary consent method is a digital opt-in form — either a checkbox on the business's website, booking confirmation, digital intake form, or checkout process. The consent language clearly states: When consent is collected digitally, the customer checks the box themselves before submitting the form. The checkbox is unchecked by default — the customer must actively opt in.

Alternative consent methods

When digital opt-in is not available (e.g., walk-in businesses without a digital checkout process), consent may also be collected via:

• Signed paper consent form — the customer signs a form containing the same opt-in language shown above. A printable consent form is available.
• SMS keyword opt-in — the customer texts START to (724) 573-8439 to opt in.

Business owner certification

Regardless of how consent was collected, the business owner must certify in the ReviewLoops platform that the customer consented before any messages are sent: No messages are sent until the business owner has checked this box.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to immediately opt out. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent by Slight Revision.
